Good Fit

"The mat is good quality but a little tricky to install. It’s a very confined space in the boot, the strange screws with tongues are a bit awkward to screw in and half the mat is attached with very strong adhesive strips (not sure if I’d ever be able to remove the mat now!). You only get one chance to stick it in the right spot, and it has to align perfectly or the edge won’t fit under the rear rubber boot seal properly. Fortunately the mat is well designed and fits well, so the probability of getting it wrong is low!! It would be much better if the mat used standard auto trim clips rather than the strange screws. One of the supplied screw fittings was faulty and X-Car replaced it for me without any hassles. They also sent me a link that showed how to install it when I couldn’t work out how to use the unusual screws. Their customer support was very good though it would have been better if I’d been able to ring them and discuss things, rather than just send emails. I deducted one star because of the tricky screws. It all worked out well in the end. The mat is fitted and looks great!"
